A vintage postcard shows the Kit Carson House and Museum in the early days of the Wild West. Open to the public as a tourist attraction, the historic adobe structure is located on Kit Carson Road, in what is now the heart of downtown Taos, New Mexico.
Kit Carson
On any visit to Taos one name you will see again and again is that of Kit Carson: from the steet sign dedicated to the legend to the regional electric coop that bears his name! Governor Charles Bent
